Tripwire Newsletter
TRIPWIRE is an independent newsletter reporting on the politics of firearms and civil rights in Maryland. Since August 1996, it appears on about a monthly basis, with the publication cycle driven by how much there is to report. Especially during legislative sessions or election cycles, Tripwire educates you about the political process, and alerts you to opportunities for making a difference. Tripwire is not a lobbying operation and does not represent you ... it helps you better represent yourself. The power of grassroots movements lies combining the energies of many people sharing common goals into one force. Tripwire will show you the way.
Tripwire is run entirely on subscriber donations, in the belief that the community will reward an information and outreach service when it recognizes the service we perform. If you believe more outreach is good for the community, then donate more ... we'll use it to reach more gun owners. We give you information before we ask for your support, so compare our service with other sources and decide for yourself where you get the best political value for your hard earned buck! This operation is run entirely by volunteers, and 100% of all contributions go directly to distributing information, whether in net services, printing or postage for direct mail. We maintain a separate Legal Attack Fund to support ligitgation, fighting for our rights in court; subscribers can earmark some or all of their donations into this fund. Tripwire is not a political action committee, we don't give money to politicians and nothing you contribute here is tax deductible.
